Teacher expertise and credentials
I hold a Bachelor of Music degree with a concentration in performance. I have also studied independently with some of the world's greatest flute players and teachers. This helps me employ many different approaches to best help my students make the progress they are looking for.
I have been teaching private music lessons for over 30 years to students of all ages and ability levels. My students have ranged from 5 year old beginners with zero experience, up through extremely advanced students intending to pursue music as a career. Since 2020, I have had numerous students take lessons online.
I am a full-time professional musician, performing in almost all genres.
