Class experience
US Grade 7 - 10
In this one time class, we will start out by defining an equation and comparing to an expression. Then we will move to solving one and two step equations, ending with multi-step equations. We will do sample problems at each level and make sure students are comfortable and asking questions if they need help. I will use a white board and online resources to teach the concepts, and a game will be posted at the end for extra fun practice.

I am a math tutor with years of tutoring experience. I also have a masters in Civil Engineering, a very math heavy curriculum, so a good algebra foundation is critical. I have also observed students in algebra that lack the required skills from pre-algebra for success. I have a passion for helping students understand math.
