Tutoring for Algebra I, focusing on concepts the learner is struggling with or needs more practice in. I can quickly gauge areas where the student needs more help and focus on those areas. I will use a white board primarily. Drawings and graphs will be used to help learn concepts. Learners will be asked prompting questions and will answer while working through a math problem. Learners should be working through an algebra course. This class is week to week as it is expected to last the duration of the course. Tutoring can be catered to the learning style of the student and different methods of teaching can be used until understanding is reached. Sample and practice problems are usually worked together and then the student will work on their own with help until they are confident.
