Students will gain an understanding of the careers in Civil Engineering. They will learn example jobs within those careers as well as problems those professionals solve They will know the importance of math and science classes (ELA too) that will be needed to pursue this profession.
I am a Professional Civil Engineer. I have a masters degree in civil engineering, specializing in structures. My professional licensure is in the transportation concentration. I have taken courses in all of the other disciplines.
Homework Offered
Projects will be assigned each week for students to explore some of the issues that civil engineers may encounter or perform in their jobs. These will not be graded but feedback and discussion may be offered from the teacher.
