Pre-Algebra Concepts: Positive and Negative Numbers (Integers)

This one time class will cover everything about integers starting with the number line for positive and negative numbers, and going up to evaluating expressions. This class will be very thorough and methodical.

I will explain the concepts and rules of adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing positive and negative numbers using the whiteboard feature and IXL to increase understanding.  I always check in with my students to ensure they are understanding the topic.  

We will work some problems together throughout the class, progressively increasing in difficulty. I will ask the students to participate by answering questions while solving problems together. This will build confidence and ensure they are learning the material.
