Beginner Level
What will be taught: Students will learn how to round numbers in their place value. Students learn when rounding the place to which you want to round. Student will learn to replace a number with another number that tells about how many or how much. Students learn how to round numbers in the tenths place, hundreds place and the thousands place. Students learn greater and less than. Students will learn the place the place value of a number. Students learn how to estimate an addition problem. How will I teach the lesson: White board, works sheets, slides, discussion, students will do some problems on their own to practice the lesson. No experience is required for this lesson or any knowledge this is beginner level.
Learning Goals
Students will understand how to round numbers to replace another number that tells about how many or how much. The student will understand about the place value for each digit number. Students will learn how to estimate a problem and solve it.

Parental Guidance
Parental guidance in case of technical difficulties or logging on. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
