Beginner - Intermediate Level
This class focuses on building a strong foundation in core math skills while boosting confidence and problem-solving strategies. The curriculum is personalized to each student’s level and learning goals from grades 3 - 7.
Teaching Topics:
• Basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Fractions, decimals, and percentages
• Word problems and logic reasoning
• Geometry (shapes, area, perimeter)
• Data Analysis & Probability.
Class Structure: Each session will be structured to include a warm-up, mini-lesson of new concepts using scaffolding, independent practice to build mastery and we will conclude each lesson with a brief / fun review to reinforce key concepts.
Teaching Style: Lessons will be interactive and student-focused. I use visual aids, hands on, real-life examples, and digital tools to make concepts easier to understand. I also incorporate problem-solving steps and strategies for tackling tricky questions.
I’m patient, encouraging, and adaptable. I will celebrate small wins, asking guiding questions, and creating a safe space for mistakes and learning.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree and K-12 ESE certification and currently work in a middle school math classroom. I have taught and written numerous IEP’s for students with unique abilities and have helped them reach their progress goals.
