In this class we will be going over the value of the different coins and dollar bills. We will learn how to count money and how to figure out different ways to use coins to equal a certain price (eg: two dimes and a nickel equal a quarter). Learners will also figure out what exact cash they will need to buy certain items and what kind of change they should get back after other purchases.

I like to teach using the I do, we do, you do style. I will work through examples. We will go through examples as a group, and then learners will complete problems independently where I will be available for assistance. During the we do and you do parts, your learner will have plenty of time to speak with other students if they choose to do so.
