Beginner Level
What will be taught:
Students will learn when you read a paragraph for information, you can take notes. 
Students learn that notes will help the student remember what is most important about the paragraph. 
Students will also learn how notes can help write a summary that tells in a few sentences what the paragraph is about. 
Students will learn what they know about their topic by adding facts and information that your audience wants to know about.
Students learn when reading a magazine or a book that tells about their topic, to look for facts that answer their questions. 
How will the lesson be taught:
Google slides, Doc cam, student engagement, discussion.
Great for students who still have trouble with writing skills, or need to improve their writing techniques.

Learning Goals

Students learn before they write, how to get information they need to write a paragraph. Students learn how to get enough information, facts to make their topic interesting for their readers.

Other Details

Parental Guidance
Parental guidance in case of technical difficulties or logging on. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
