Life Skills: Understanding Emotional Social & Physical Health
What's included
1 live meeting
30 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
In this one-time class, students will learn what it means to be healthy, identifying components of their own emotional, social, and physical health habits while creating a health triangle collage of their own. I will begin class by explaining the three different aspects of health and what health looks like for me (my examples include hiking, reading, cooking healthy meals, spending time with family, etc.) At no time will I suggest or give advice on weight loss or psychiatric help. This class is not at all about that! Everyone will be encouraged to discover their own path to happiness and health and bounce ideas off the group, for example hobbies or sports that they have enjoyed, to create their own health triangle. Learners will need to bring pencil and paper to class at a minimum, but I strongly encourage students to bring colored paper, scissors, pens, stickers, old magazines to cut up, etc.
