Beginner Level
This course covers the essential principles of fitness, including exercise types, training methods, goal setting, and the impact of physical activity on overall health.

Topics Covered: Components of fitness (cardio, strength, flexibility, endurance)

Exercise safety and injury prevention, Workout planning and goal setting

Nutrition and hydration for fitness, The science behind physical activity and recovery

Class Structure & Teaching Style:
The course is structured, interactive, and writing-based, with each lesson including:
Warm-Up – A short writing prompt to activate prior knowledge.
Lesson Content – Presented through slides, readings, and video clips.
Engagement Activities – Writing responses, discussion posts, and interactive quizzes.
Wrap-Up – A final writing reflection to reinforce learning.

Learning Goals

By the end of the course, students will be able to design a balanced fitness plan that incorporates strength, cardiovascular, and flexibility exercises while understanding the role of nutrition and recovery in optimizing their physical health.
Students will gain knowledge about the role of macronutrients (proteins, fats, and carbohydrates) in fueling exercise and supporting muscle recovery and growth.
