This ongoing course will use extracts from KS3 level texts such as, 'Private Peaceful', 'The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas', 'Skellig' 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night' etc. Each lesson is a self contained lesson using a single extract. We will read the extract as a class and then follow a three step format: 1. Answer comprehension questions - multiple choice, true or false, long answer questions 2. Explore vocabulary 3.
