Students will be introduced to the CUT strategy that they will use to analyze texts and improve reading comprehension. The CUT strategy is:

C - Circle key vocabulary words
U - Underline key evidence, explanations, etc
T - Talk to the text - ask questions, draw connections, etc

They will then practice with different English and Social Studies texts over a 4 class course.
