Homework
1 hour per week. At the end of each session, the teacher will reinforce to the child that they must complete any unfinished homework. She will then send a follow-up note to the parent or guardian explaining the details of the session.Class Experience

Beginner - Advanced Level
If you are interested in a weekly ongoing 1:1 tutoring session, please let me know and that can be arranged. I am available for private writing, art, or homework sessions with preschool through fourth-grade learners. Since this is a 1:1 session, your family is free to choose the area of focus whether it be paragraph or essay writing, poetry, or even routine nightly homework. Take a peek at my art classes and if you'd like to take a relaxing break from academics, I will be happy to chat with your child as we create a piece of animal or zentangle art together (beginners welcome). When my boys were young I owned a small tutoring business in which I specialized in preschool through fourth-grade small group enrichment, literacy interventions, kindergarten readiness, summer camps, and the arts. I hold a master's degree from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts in Integration of the Arts into the Curriculum. I also have over thirty years of experience in public schools as a kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th grade, and gifted classroom teacher. ***Let me know if your child needs accommodations and we will work together to ensure they have the best possible class experience.***
Learning Goals
The student will receive help with their homework or writing assignments in a private session with an experienced elementary school teacher.
The family will have the option of having the teacher do a relaxing and fun doodle art project with their child.Other Details
Supply List
Please come to class with all of the supplies you need for the homework that you would like to work on each day. If possible, scan or send a picture of the materials to the teacher ahead of class.
