Class Experience
This ongoing art class is designed for artists requiring personalised one-to-one instruction to hone their artistic ability. Looking at different art techniques and utilising different art mediums to bring artwork to life. Students are given full autonomy over class content and can choose what they would like to cover each lesson. During class students will receive tuition, live demonstrations and step-by-step guides to build their skillset in creating all types of art, including: still life, human form, portraits, animals etc. Students will be taught pencil methods to develop line drawing and shading as well as color theory in mediums such as paints and pastels. These principles and theories are applicable and transferable for artists also looking to use digital tools.

Basic requirement are a pencil and paper but any art supplies that wish to be used.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been in education for 19 years and am currently the Assistant Head of Special Educational Needs in a secondary school (students aged 11-16) in the UK. I believe in an inclusive education for all students, no matter their ability or disability.
I teach English, Film and Media, and creativity is at the heart of all the classes I teach.
I was an art technician for three years in which I honed my artistic skills that I will use to offer art based classes.
I also ran my own small baking and cake decorating business for seven years; I even had celebrity clients! So, I hope to offer these classes to students in the near future.
In my spare time I love walking my pug and I am an avid reader of fantasy fiction. I also enjoy running; I have completed several half marathons and my goal is to complete a full marathon some day. I am a big kid at heart so look out for my Pokémon based classes!
