In this private 1:1 class student will learn to draw a variety of unique compositions. The possibilities are limitless! We will draw exciting landscapes, anime portraits, realistic animals or general drawings based on your learner’s unique interests. Your child will learn how to properly use a graphite pencil set as well as pencil techniques such as hatching, scumbling and cross hatching. Students will learn how to create three dimensional realistic drawings from two-dimensional line drawings. I am a former School Psychologist, but I am also a portrait artist with a passion to teach children how to draw! It is my hope that I can instill a love for drawing as well as a sense of confidence in your young learner! The cognitive skills that they master when drawing can also be helpful when learning at school. I offer a flexible format for scheduling so you can find a time that works for your child.
