1 hour per week. includedClass Experience
US Grade 2 - 5
Beginner - Advanced Level
Each thirty-minute class includes a Google Slide presentation that helps guide a conversation about the week's bird-concept-of-the-week. This club will be very interactive and student-led with bird lovers sharing pets, photos, sketches, and facts about birds they would like to introduce to the group. A virtual "talking stick" will be passed around the "Zoom Room" so each learner will have time to talk and share if they wish. We will make observations about birds that live in our homes, in our neighborhoods, and in habitats around the world. Teacher-created worksheets and coloring pages are optional. If you have a topic you'd like to discuss, please make a suggestion and I'll create a class. My goal is to build a welcoming, engaging, and educational community of learners, AKA “Bird Nerds”. Since this is an ongoing class, each class stands on its own so you are not required to attend every week. You can start and stop your subscription to suit your schedule!
