Week 1Lesson 1Horse BiologyThe learners will learn all about the anatomy. This lesson will include the parts of the horse, muscles, and bones of the horse.Week 2Lesson 2ConformationThis week the learners will learn how to assess a horse's conformation and know what discipline the horse is suited for.Week 3Lesson 3Horse CareThe learners will learn advance care of horses including generic nutrition, grooming and how to exercise/condition horses.Week 4Lesson 4TrainingThe learners will learn different techniques by watching some of the top trainers.
Learners will improve their understanding of horses.
I have ridden and shown horses since I was 9. I also raise quarter horses with my husband.
The students will need the internet, pdf reader, a way to way to watch videos that are uploaded. I make my videos and post them on youtube. I will give each student the link to the videos. The students will also need a way to upload their presentation.
