In this class, learners will learn all about the farm and life on the farm.  Each week we will start with a farm tour of the farm that I live on with my family.  The activities and the season will depend on what is shown.  Some examples of the topics that would shown on the tour would be harvesting, horses, cattle, llamas, how we get ready for winter, and growing pumpkins.  Some of the tours will be shown through videos by screen sharing since it may not be easy to do it live.  Most of the tours will be going outside live to see the animals or what we would like to see that day. 

The discussion will lean more on farming in the midwest of the United States since that is what I am familiar with but all questions and topics can be discussed. 

After the tour, I will have a question and answer session plus a learner led conversation about the farm topics the learners would like to learn about.  This class will be more learner led and learners are encouraged to let me know what they would like to see on the farm.
