The topic will be suggested by the learners in the class held the week before. Some weeks it might be a specific breed of horse or pony presented, some weeks a certain riding discipline highlighted, and some weeks it could be a fun topic related to equines, such as showing. The instructor is a certified riding instructor and barn manager. Amy has taught students of all ages and abilities from beginners to the seasoned show competitor. She has ridden and competed in many different disciplines. Her passion is training feral mustangs. She judges horse shows whenever her schedule allows. Amy has a stable with ten of her own horses, most she has trained herself.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
