In this weekly kindergarten story time lesson, we will explore delightful children's books. Through these stories, children will engage with concepts of colors, numbers, animals, and sequencing while fostering their love for reading and learning. Class Structure: Introduction: Warmly greet the learners and introduce the theme of the day's lesson. Get the learners excited about the stories I will read. Interactive Story Reading: Read the story for the week. Pause to ask questions. Encourage learners to predict what will happen next based on the pattern of the story. Discussion and Activity: Engage children in a discussion about the book. Then, transition to an activity where learners can learn about colors, numbers, storytelling and other topics. Conclusion: We will do a show and tell or a recap of what we learned for the lesson. After class I will give extention activities that can be done at home. My teaching style for this story time is interactive and engaging. I use a combination of storytelling, discussions, hands-on activities, and creative tasks to keep the learners interested and involved throughout the lesson. I adapt my tone and pace to suit the children's age and comprehension level, making sure to provide opportunities for them to participate, share their thoughts, and make predictions.
