These locations have an eerie feeling and mysteries that surround their emptiness. We will dive into the history and stories that explain why each of these places has been completely abandoned. - Some of these abandoned locations were abandoned because of violence or war-related incidents. There will be no graphic images of these events and the information shared with the students will be age-appropriate. - Kahoot is trivia game website that will be used during this class. During class time, a direct link will be shared through the Zoom chat with the children. Students will click on the link to take them directly to the website and enter either their first name or a nickname. No additional websites will need to be accessed by the children.
A variety of sources will be consulted for the history of each of these locations. Trusted sources such as History.com, National Geographic, and major news and travel journals will all be consulted to provide a factual portrayal of each location.
