Review and Quiz
  • Students will be given an introduction to five of the main world religions. Students will be able to recall information about each of the religions such as the beliefs, practices, and celebrations unique to each religion. Students will be able to identify similarities and differences between the five religions.
I am a certified teacher at the intermediate and senior level with specific qualifications in history and geography. My goal for this class is to teach students from an unbiased approach the different belief systems. My personal bias will not be a part of this class as I believe that teaching students about different religions through an unbiased lens can help them be respectful to others with different beliefs than their own. I will use a wide range of documents to support the information taught in this class to provide a thorough glance at the different religions.

Details: Students will be given the opportunity to complete a quiz in Week 6. This quiz will be used to help solidify the student's knowledge and push them to think more deeply about the role that religion plays in people's lives when examining the different religions. Students will be expected to compare and contrast the different religions to demonstrate their understanding of each religion. This quiz will take place during Week 6's class time. If students need accommodations or exemptions, please message me to arrange those.
