Creative Portrait Photography: Poses, Lighting & Composition for Ages 13-18

In this engaging two-day photography class, students will discover how to elevate their portrait photography skills and capture stunning images of friends, family, or even themselves! 

📸  To maximize the learning experience, students are encouraged to have a model to photograph during both classes—whether it’s a family member, friend, or even themselves using a timer.

On Day 1, we’ll start with an introduction to portrait photography and a brief image review. Students will learn the four essential components of great portraits: lighting, posing, location, and composition.

On Day 2, we’ll dive deeper into creative techniques and explore how to enhance portrait backgrounds and subject interactions for more compelling images. 

Students will have opportunities to share their photos, fostering a supportive environment for feedback. By the end of the course, they’ll be inspired to think creatively about locations and techniques for future portrait sessions.

This is a 2-day class, meeting for 30 minutes on each day.
