Description
Class Experience
It is my goal to have each student finish this camp with more confidence in their photography as well as project ideas to keep growing in their photography. They will also have a better understanding of their own camera and general photography terms.
A camera! For this class we will be learning about the basics of photography and framing. A quality smart phone will be sufficient for this class, but I do recommend considering the use of a DSLR. We will also need to be able to upload photos to our computers to share with the class. Optional supplies: If you have a phone camera or an ipad, these can be used to add some versatility to the cameras. They are by no means mandatory, but they are a great and affordable way to have a mini upgrade. https://amzn.to/3iGsuMX
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Each student will be asked to turn in photos and I will require that all students keep from presenting photos with violent or explicit content. Please make sure that your learner's computer permissions allow for screen sharing. If you are not comfortable with your learner sharing screen to share their photos, they are welcome to send their photos to me (through Outschool) and I will share my screen for them.
