US Grade 4 - 7
Intermediate Level
This is a workshop class for students who have graduated from my 101 or 201 courses. Students will be assigned a new prompt/project each week, but are free to follow their own interests as well. Within the supportive community of teacher and peers, students can refine their skills discussing their own work as well as giving and receiving both positive and constructive "critique" with the other students, using the language of photography. Depending on the day's class size, up to the first 20 minutes of the class will be spent reviewing the work from the previous week's assignment. This may be done in Zoom breakout rooms or in the large group, depending on the class group. The next 20 minutes will be spent introducing this week's project, including learning any new technical information and reviewing some work from any famous or historical photographers whose work connects with the project.
