In this private ongoing class, we will learn how to take amazing photographs, no matter the type of camera! We will explore lighting, subject, perspective, composition, and more- and how they all work together to create amazing images. The 1:1 nature of this class gives us the flexibility to customize the topics to your student's photographic interests. This class welcomes young photographers of all experience levels - no prior knowledge or expertise is required. We'll customize our lessons to match your student's proficiency and interests. Please note that this is not a technical photography class, so we won't be covering topics like shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and the like. After enrolling, please contact me to share your student's skill level and photography interests. Weekly topics may include: - Lighting - Framing - Subject - Perspective - Focus - Storytelling - Photographing Pets - Photographing Nature - Photographing People and more! If your student has a particular photography interest that's not listed, please reach out and I'll be happy to accommodate their preferences. At the beginning of every class, an informative presentation will be given by the teacher, featuring numerous sample photos. After that, students will be given the chance to practice, pose questions, and brainstorm photo ideas. There will be a PDF handout available for students summarizing all discussed techniques.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi there! I'm Sabrina.
I live in Ontario, Canada with my furry and scaly companions. Specifically, I share my home with 4 cats and a wide variety of geckos!
Photography and animals are my two greatest passions in life. I have been taking photos for as long as I can remember, and over time it evolved into my career. I went to Sheridan College, specializing in photography. I now operate my own business where I specialize in photographing families, pets, engagements, newborns, and more!
I am excited to teach classes all about how to take a great photo, both technically and creatively.
Secondary to my photography business, I have a passion for animals of all kinds. I run a small reptile rescue out of my home, focusing mainly on leopard geckos. I take in a variety of different reptiles in various states of health. I am dedicated to learning as much as possible about these creatures and sharing my knowledge with others so they can properly care for and appreciate them. Hopefully, this will reduce the need for rescues like mine in the future.
As an educator, I believe that the classroom should be a place where students can have fun and engage in interactive experiences. My classes are designed to spark curiosity and inspire excitement in students. I am eager to help each student discover their passions and talents
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
Can’t wait to meet you in class!
