"You'll Be Back" From Hamilton; Learn to Sing the King's Song With Technique

If your student loves Hamilton and won't stop singing the songs, but also wants to know how to sing some notes or how to sing the way some of the singers do....then this class is for them. 

OR if you're a parent hearing your student sing songs from Hamilton and hear that something maybe doesn't sound quite right when they're trying to sing it...then this class is for YOU- and them :-) 

In this class Teacher Anne, a professional singer and vocal coach, will walk students through analyzing how Jonathan Groff is able to sing King George's songs so well.  Each one time class will be ordered as followed. 

1.  Introductions/ Meet and Greet Each Other
2. Warm Ups 
3. Vocal Terms Review 
4. Specific Vocal Exercises Needed To Prepare the Voice To Sing Through Chest/ Mixed/Head Registers Dynamically & With Good Diction  
5. Discussion on How the Song Is and Isn't Sung. 
6. Q & A Regarding How To Sing The Song/ Hit Certain Notes
7. Step By Step Guide On Verse, Chorus, & Bridge of Song with Lyrics Via PowerPoint 
8.  Practice Time- ( Each student will sing a portion of the song solo) 
9.  Feedback and Practice Again ( Teacher Anne will listen for the application of vocal technique in the portions sung)
10.  After class practice suggestions
11. Pictures that may aid in practice will uploaded in the classroom afterwards in addition to some notes, the warms ups rehearsed in class, and a suggest karaoke track to sing along with.
