I do offer separate vocal and guitar lessons as well. :)

In every class, I will begin with a short "catch up" conversation for the first 2 minutes to help the student warm up. Prior to class, the student will send me the song he/she would like to learn so I can have my materials prepared. On occasion, I may ask for a different song if it is inappropriate or appears to be above the student's current ability. We will there though!! :) Then, we will do a quick 5 minute vocal warm up. From there, we will begin learning the songs on the guitar, learning chords, strumming patterns, etc. After we have a basic foundation, we will jump into singing through sections. At the end of class, we will put everything together and the student will have a chance to play and sing at the same time. From there, students can practice doing both at the same time at home. 

The main goal of the course is to cater to the specific desires of each student in a welcoming, inviting, judgment-free, comfortable environment. My intention is to help each student come to life in his/her own way.

- how to practice singing and playing at the same time
