Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 5
In this class we will explore the art of descriptive writing through discussion questions, challenge activities and sharing work via live meetings.

Students will learn to;
*brainstorm descriptions together
*create a luring hook to engage the reader
*use their five senses to express themselves through writing
*write expressively while creating showing sentences rather than telling sentences
*use figurative language to bring words to life
*how to use strong verbs to supercharge writing

As the instructor, I will provide a step by step story building process as well as visual guides.
Creative thought processes will be sparked as we learn descriptive words that make our writing more engaging for ourselves and our readers.
Learning Goals
