Students will learn fun facts about human eyes via interactive teacher presented slideshow and class discussion. The teacher will lead the class in a human eye craft that students can follow along to step by step. The teacher will post optional printable activities to the classroom for students to complete after class to extend their knowledge as well as a really fun, interactive Nearpod lesson. Week Two: Teeth *Are we born with teeth? *Why do we lose our teeth and how many sets of teeth do we have? *There is more to our teeth than what we can see! *Much more! Students will learn fun facts about human teeth via interactive teacher presented slideshow and class discussion. Students will engage their fine motor skills by following a teacher led step by step human teeth craft. The teacher will post optional printable activities in the classroom for students to complete after class to extend their knowledge as well as a really fun, interactive Nearpod lesson. Week Three: Hair *The hair on our bodies has important jobs to do! *Why does hair grow in so many different colors? *How can we care for our hair? *Much more! Students will learn fun facts about human hair via interactive teacher presented slideshow and class discussion. Students will engage their fine motor skills by following a teacher led step by step human hair craft. Teacher will post optional printable activities in the classroom for students to complete after class to extend their knowledge as well as a really fun, interactive Nearpod lesson. Each student will receive a printable Certificate of Completion sent to their own classroom message board on the last day of class. Week Four: Fingernails *Fingernails are tools! They have important jobs! *Our nails have 4 important parts *What are nails made of and how can we take care of them? Students will learn fun facts about human fingernails via interactive teacher presented slideshow and class discussion. Students will engage their fine motor skills with a teacher led step by step human fingernail craft. The teacher will post optional printable activities in the classroom for students to complete after class to extend their knowledge as well as a really fun, interactive Nearpod lesson. Week Five: Ears *The 3 sections of a human ear and the jobs they have *Vibrations! *How can we protect our ears and take care of them? Students will learn the basics about human ears via interactive teacher presented slideshow and class discussion. Students will engage their fine motor skills with a teacher led step by step human ear craft. The teacher will post optional printable activities in the classroom for students to complete after class to extend their knowledge as well as a really fun, interactive Nearpod lesson.

Adult assistance may be needed for various aspects of the crafts. Students will be using scissors and may need help.
Supply List
Students will need the following for the weekly craft: Week One: 1 Piece of black paper 1 Piece of yellow paper (or another light color) Printables from classroom Glue Scissors Black crayon Paint (whatever color student would like the iris of the eye to be). Paintbrush Week Two: 2 Sheets of Red Paper (or any color you have) Printable from classroom Black marker Glue Week Three: One paper plate Yarn of any color (this will be hair so whatever color student would like the hair to be) Paint (this will be skin color, so whatever skin color the student would like to use) Glue Scissors Crayons Printable from classroom Week Four: Colored paper (any color; whatever color student would like their hands to be; enough to make 2 hand prints on) One piece of black of dark blue construction paper Marker (any color) Colored Paint (if child would like to make their fingernails colorful) Paintbrush Printable from classroom Scissors Glue Week Five: Printable from classroom Colored paper (any color) Yarn Scissors Glue Crayons
