I am currently a Creative Writing teacher at a brick-and-mortar middle school, where I have been fostering young writers' creativity and honing their writing skills. In addition to my teaching experience, I have published several short stories and am actively pursuing traditional publication for my novel. My dedication to the craft is further evidenced by the numerous books I've read and the various classes I've attended on creative writing. This background equips me with both practical teaching skills and real-world writing experience, which I am excited to bring to our Creative Writing Club.

Homework
Frequency: available upon requestFeedback: available upon requestDetails: Homework will involve a flexible amount of dedicated time to develop your writing projects, allowing you to apply the principles and techniques learned in our sessions. Additionally, I will provide tailored writing prompts to inspire creativity and expand your writing skills. These prompts will be given as needed to help you explore new genres, styles, and perspectives. This approach ensures that you have both the freedom to pursue your own writing interests and the opportunity to challenge yourself with new and exciting writing exercises.
Writers will need the ability to write and present their writings to me and their peers. Paper and pen are more than acceptable for rough drafts, but to receive the best feedback, projects will need to be typed.
Be aware that there will potentially be scary stories written or listened to.
Any reading material will be provided.
