In this class we will learn the different hands on the clock (minute and hour). We will also learn how to read a digital and analog clock. To begin class I will tell the students a story about the "Clock Family." The characters in the clock family all have a job and will help us remember how to read an analog clock. Students will learn to tell time to the nearest 5 minutes. Below is the common core standard we will be practicing. CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.2.MD.C.7 Tell and write time from analog and digital clocks to the nearest five minutes, using a.m. and p.m.
