US Grade 1 - 2
In this class, your learner will learn how to tell time down to the minute on an analog clock. We will talk about AM, PM, the number of minutes in an hour, seconds in a minute, and hours in a day. We will discuss the differences between the hour, minute, and second hand. We will also discuss what the larger numbers on the clock represent in relation to hours and minutes. We will work through several examples together before they start to try it out on their own. It would be helpful for your learner to already know how to skip count by 5s. This class will be very interactive and your learner will have many opportunities to speak if they choose to.
