In this escape class, learners will practice telling time on both analog and digital clocks while searching for clues in the clock room. Time can be a difficult concept for young learners. This is why it is important to help children learn about time by incorporating routines and games into their usual play, as play is something they truly understand. I created this Clock Museum escape room to help make telling time fun and engaging for young learners. Children will leave school on a virtual school bus and travel with their classmates to the Clock Museum. After arriving, they will be locked in the Clock Room and will search for telling time-related clues to escape. After escaping, learners will get back on the virtual school bus. They can work on the Telling Time printable while on the bus. (The optional printable is attached to my welcome message in the classroom.) Learners will be taking "detective" notes which they can write on the back of the Telling Time printable or a piece of paper. Learners will be awarded with a printable Master Time Teller completion certificate at the end of class. You can find a copy of it attached to my welcome message in the classroom.
Learning Goals
Learners will learn about telling time on both analog and digital clocks while searching the clock room in the Clock Museum for clues to earn their completion certificate.

Hello! My name is Sharon, Teacher Sharon. I am both thankful and excited to have this opportunity to help children from all over the world have fun while learning. I love making learning fun!
I have my Masters of Education (MEd) and over 20 years of experience teaching and learning from children of all ages. I have experience as a nursery school director, a Kid's Club supervisor (twice) and a classroom teacher for Pre-K through high school. I have also taught technology, after-school elementary science classes, cupcake decorating, and brick building.
I am very fortunate to have grown up overseas and have lived all over the world. Some of my many passions include creating fun, educational classes, scuba diving, traveling, science, crafting, my precious dog, cat, fish and snails and of course teaching.
I like to keep class sizes small to help learners engage and participate. If your child is interested in any of my classes that are not currently scheduled, or if a different time or day would work better for you, please feel free to contact me.
Learning in my classroom is engaging, energetic, fun, enjoyable, upbeat and entertaining. "Your child won't want to leave at the end of class and will beg to come back for more." (That's my superhero catch phrase.)
NOTE: I am very flexible with class scheduling. If you are interested in one of my classes, but you don't see it listed on a day or time that you want, please find a class that is already listed when you want the class. Send me a message and I will do my best to switch the class that you want with the one that is already listed.
I look forward to helping your child have fun while learning. Have a wonderful day,
~Teacher Sharon🙂
