In this one-time class, we will be introduced to the letter T t. We will use our hand and fingers to learn the letter and sound, we will learn the upper and lowercase letter Tt, identify and match the sound of Tt to pictures of objects, be introduced to words that have the same initial letter of Tt. For a fun activity, we will create a “Tt is for … collage. I will provide a turtle template for the collage. This class won’t have any cutting during the class so please precut the template before class begins. This class welcomes all levels of learners who are looking for a supplement or extra support in learn early reading with with letters.
Learning Goals
Students will learn to identify the letter t and its sound.
Students will learn to identify the upper and lowercase letter T t.
Students will be exposed to words that have the same initial letter/sound.

Supply List
**There won’t be any cutting during the class so please precut the template before class begins. Learners will need: 2-5 pictures that start with the letter Tt (some examples from a magazine, newspaper, clipart pictures). 1-2 sight words that start with Tt. Either pencils, crayons, colored pencils or markers. A small hole that has been punched on top of either a large paper plate or any drawing paper String or ribbon (thin enough to go through the whole) Glue or tape Written on one side of paper plate or on drawing paper it says, "Tt is for..."
