In this one-time multisyllabic reading class, in a fun and engaging way, we will learn to decode 2 syllable words by their syllable patterns (V/CV and VC/V) while using a graphic organizer. 

There will be 2 engaging multisyllabic activities:
-practice using the syllable pattern in two syllable words to sound out and then read a sentence. 
-practice spelling a multisyllabic word and then read a sentence.
For the remainder of time, we will play games to reinforce reading 2 syllable words. 
This class is great for homeschool or after school. 

My Office Hours:
Monday-Friday 6:00 PM-9:00 PM EST
Saturday 9:00 AM-1:00 PM EST

Learners should have:
basic letter sound associations (including consonant blends and digraphs)
concepts of short and long vowel sounds
concepts of open and closed syllables
one syllable concept
decoding and blending skills
sight word recognition 
writing skills
