US Grade Preschool - 1
This is a 17 week course that meets 2 days a week. Learners will be introduced to the letters of the alphabet using fun engaging stories and with the help of catchy sings, they will also learn letter sounds. By the end of this course, learners will be prepared to begin reading simple CVC words. Upon completing this course, I would recommend enrolling in my Level 1 Phonics course, which will expand upon the student's knowledge of letter sounds and CVS words and teach word families. My teaching style is simple yet highly interactive, using tools such as songs, flashcards, books, games, and occasionally, slides and videos.

Letters D, O, and G
We will learn the letters d, o, and g and their sounds. We will also read the story "Dod the Dog." 25 mins online live lesson

B and D
We will review recognizing b and d and read the story "Dod and Bob." 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Letter A
We will review the letter a and read "Dod and Dad." 25 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Let's Practice!
In this review lesson, we will read "The Bad Bag." 25 mins online live lesson

Students may need a pencil during class time. Any additional supplies will be posted in the classroom at least two days in advance. Access to a printer is recommended.

I have since then continued to teach and tutor privately, both in person and online. I have also taught in private schools where I have worked with teaching students to read.
