US Grade Kindergarten - 1
This class welcomes all levels of learners who are looking for a supplement or extra support in these math concepts covered in these classes. Learners should have vocabulary knowledge of these math terms: more, fewer, and equal to. Learners should be able to identify numbers with 1-3 digits. Also, some knowledge on skip count by 1s, 10s, 100s. There will be added support in the classes for any learner who may need it. The learner should be able to draw lines and squares or circles. This 6-week course teaches how to understand place value, compare (1-3 digit) numbers, and use the properties of operations to add 10 more and subtract 10 less. Throughout the weeks, learners will learn math terms (more, fewer, equal to, greater/less than), strategies on how to compare numbers, using symbols to compare and identify numbers that are 10 less and 10 more than a number. This class is great for homeschool or after school. There will be worksheets available for the learners to participate and engage in the lessons. All worksheets are optional to use. Refund Policy: Full refund until a week in advance, or within 24 hours of purchase (until class starts), then a 75% refund within the first week. Weekly Breakdown: Week 1: More, Fewer and Same-What do you know about more, fewer, and same? Week 2: Greater Than- How can you compare two numbers to find which is greater? Week 3: Less Than- How can you compare two numbers to find which is less than? Week 4: Use Symbols to Compare- How can you use symbols to show how numbers compare? Week 5: Problem Solve with Comparing Numbers- How can making a model help you compare numbers? Week 6: 10 Less, 10 More- How can you identify numbers that are 10 less or 10 more than a number?

Parental Guidance
The lessons will be created on Google Jamboard in which I will share my screen with the learners.
The learners won't need an account to engage in the lessons.
Supply List
Each week, I will inform the learner of more specific supplies needed for that class. Any worksheets pertaining to that class will be provided to you a day before the class begins. All worksheets and supplies are optional. The worksheets can be printed out or the learner can choose to use loose paper, notebook and/or a dry erase board as another option. All worksheets and supplies are optional however to maximize the learning environment the learner should have the following supplies: 1. Worksheets (optional) 2. Loose paper, notebook or dry easer board and dry erase markers. (optional) 3. Pencils, crayons, markers, or colored pencils (optional) 4. Base ten blocks (optional) If for any reason the learner doesn't have the supplies during the class, they will still have opportunities to participate and engage throughout the class.
