The learners will be assessed informally throughout the class. They will be encouraged to participate in a virtual art gallery at the end of each class session.Class Experience
In this multi-day class, the learners will learn to draw and paint 4 different Thanksgiving-themed paintings using acrylic paints. I will cover some painting techniques including blending, adding patterns, and shading during the classes. The learners will be encouraged to add their own personal touches to their paintings even though I will be demonstrating each painting. The class will follow the following structure: Introductions/ Greetings Directed drawing/painting Socialization will be held throughout the lesson. Virtual Art Gallery I will teach using directed drawing techniques to demonstrate how I draw and paint pictures. My teaching style is very relaxed. I believe in using praise in order to help encourage the learner to be creative. The learners will get to interact with me as well as with other learners throughout the lesson. There is no prior knowledge needed. Day 1: Shake Your Tail Feathers painting Day 2: Pumpkin Day 3: Turkey in Hiding painting Day 4: Fall Magic painting *We will not be discussing the history behind Thanksgiving during this class. *I do not cancel classes due to low enrollment.

Parental Guidance
The learners will come up with some of the topics of conversation. We will not be discussing the history of Thanksgiving during this class.
Supply List
Pencil Canvas or paper Paint brushes Paint palette or something to put acrylic paint on Acrylic paint- I will be using fall colors, however, the learners are encouraged to use any color they would like to use Cup of water Paper towel Creativity Smile

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
