Class experience
During this 8-lesson class, learners will learn how to write each letter of the American English alphabet, both capital, and lowercase. We will work on shape, size, and spacing. We will then go on to use those letters in words. Each lesson will include a demonstration as well as time to practice. Each week, we will focus on writing different letters in cursive. The learners will practice writing the letter focusing on letter formation and spacing.
I have been an educator for over 30 years. During this time, I have taught cursive writing to hundreds of learners.
Homework Offered
Each student will be expected to practice the letters we are working on between classes. This will help develop the fine motor skills needed for writing as well as help them improve their handwriting skills.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
The students will be assessed informally based on the formation of the letters we are working on for the week.Grades Offered
