Assessment
Assessments will be done verbally each class. We will also set goals for ourselves, and at the end of the four weeks we will see how far we have all come.

Class Experience

This class is not a dance class. This is a conditioning class focusing, isolating and strengthening the muscles we use as dancers. This class is made for dancers looking for extra conditioning to improve their balance, turns, leaps and more! We will isolate our cores, legs, arms, and lots of smaller muscles in between.

-The beginning of class will be a structured warm-up to make sure the body and muscles are warm.
-We will then move to exercises that have a focus.

   *  Week 1 - Flexibility
   *  Week 2 - Strength
   *  Week 3 - Balance & Stability
   *  Week 4 - Full Body
   *  Week 5 - Conditioning
   *  Week 6 - Review (Full Body)

-Even though each week will have a focus, there will always be a full body element.

-I will teach these exercises with thorough explanation, encouragement and motivation. We as a class will cheer each other on, share helpful tips, and work hard to challenge ourselves.

Learning Goals

Our learning goal is to learn these exercises so they can be done independently. Also, to become stronger, more flexible and confident dancers. Knowing what muscles our body is using when dancing not only helps us become stronger dancers, but it helps us in becoming more aware of our bodies when dancing.

Other Details

Parental Guidance
Occasionally injuries do occur when dancing. They are rare, but can happen when participating in physical activity. I carefully guide, assist, coach and watch during the activity to help prevent any injury.
Supply List
- Comfortable clothing
- Water Bottle.
- Small ball or pillow.

*If you have a resistance band, or small 2lb weight you can bring it to class as well.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

I have been teaching dancers for over 16 years, and have my own successful dance studio that has been in business for over 6 years. I have both National and International teaching experience.
