Class Experience

What It's All About:
This isn't just a fitness club; it's a community aimed at supporting motivated individuals interested in pursuing weight training and exercise. Regardless of fitness level, all are welcome to join at any time. Upon joining, participants receive a personalized goals sheet and a foundational lifting and exercise plan, which can be tailored to their specific objectives. Additionally, a tracking sheet is provided to monitor progress.

How the Class Operates:

Every week, participants are led through a series of various lifts and their corresponding variations, following a brief stretching session. From mastering bicep curls to conquering deadlifts, the comprehensive approach ensures skill development across the board. A strong emphasis is placed on correct technique to prevent injuries and optimize gains towards individual goals. Following the practical session, a 10-minute mini-lesson and discussion on a relevant, related topic like cardio or nutrition, with the opportunity for questions.

Importantly, there is no obligation for participants to execute the lifts during the class itself. Tutorials and clarifications will be provided as needed, fostering a supportive and comfortable learning environment. However, active participation in the lifts is encouraged.

Track and Triumph:

Both within and beyond class time, participants are encouraged to track their training and weight usage. This incremental approach helps celebrate gradual achievements. Tracking sheets are provided regardless of class attendance frequency and can be easily tailored for individual self-monitoring.

Personalized Fitness Blueprint:

Beyond lifting and exercise, the focus lies in purposeful engagement. A structured plan is presented, guiding participants on what to do, when to do it, and how to advance effectively toward their goals.

Nourish and Thrive:

Delving beyond dumbbells, discussions extend into the realm of optimal nutrition strategies that complement weight training efforts. From pre-workout fueling to post-workout recovery, participants gain insights into maximizing gains and overall well-being.

Beyond the Dumbbells:

While dumbbells play a pivotal role, exploration spans further to encompass calisthenics and cardio. Exploring the realm of bodyweight exercises and invigorating cardiovascular routines, the holistic approach fosters strength, agility, and readiness for life's challenges.

Other Details

Parental Guidance
Students will need an open workout space, proper footwear, a water bottle, and I will lead adequate stretching beforehand. With physical workouts injuries can occur if students are not properly supervised. I will do my part in teaching stretching and proper form.
