I currently hold my Bachelor of Arts degree in dance from the University of New Hampshire, 2009. I have been teaching for 17 years. Inside studio settings, and within schools. I currently own my own dance studio, and have experience teaching at both the recreational levels and competitive levels. I have taught in the United States, and also have began programs abroad. I have been dancing for 30 years, and absolutely love it!
Have a chair or desk, or something available to hold onto for the first section of the class. Also make sure to dress in comfortable clothing. If you have dancewear, feel free to wear it!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The learner is assessed verbally throughout the entire class. A written report can absolutely be given if you find that more helpful.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Occasionally injuries do occur when dancing. They are rare, but can happen when participating in physical activity. I carefully guide, assist, coach and watch during the activity to help prevent any injury.
