Class Experience
Grab your lightsabers and join me in this fun and interactive lightsaber course. This course is aimed toward intermediate Padawans who are wanting to learn how to show off with a lightsaber. (This class would be great to follow the Lightsaber for Beginners course that I also offer.) Class layout: We will start with a mini Star Wars discussion, followed by a warm up, then we will train with our lightsabers. At the end of class the students will be able to mix and match moves to show off what...
Students will learn confidence through lightsaber training. They will learn to safely handle a lightsaber and be comfortable practicing a few new tricks.
I am the original Jedi Workout teacher for Outschool. I took health, fitness, and running classes in college. I work out on a daily basis and love making fitness fun for kids!
No homework is assigned but I’d strongly encourage to continue practicing to master these moves.
Lightsaber of sorts Space to move around Comfortable clothing or a costume Water
Each learner has their own pace and style. I will teach the moves and the learner is free to interpret and adjust the move as is comfortable to them. I only want them to try their best.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Lightsabers can be destructive to valuable household items. Please make sure the learner has plenty of space to move around and swing a saber. I will also be showing a short 15 second clip from one of the Star Wars movies that shows a lightsaber battle. The movie is Revenge of the Sith and is rated PG-13. In this scene no one gets hurt.
