Introduce, reinforce, or brush up on basic dog obedience skills in this camp. Bring your dog or puppy to these sessions, as it is a hands on class. It is a group class, however each individual student will have a chance to ask questions pertaining to their individual training plan. If the dog already knows the lesson of the day, exercises will be given to further the training of the concept. Only positive training methods will be used. These are the skills focused on in each class. Additional skills may be added if time permits. There will be a chance to ask questions in each class. Day 1: Introduction of learners and dogs, sit, down, and stand. Day 2: Review of day 1, focus exercises and impulse control. Day 3: Review of day 1 & 2, stay, target exercises. *Please have an area to work in where you have some space to move and your dog can be easily seen. *Please have training treats for your dog for class. Soft treats work best, however use what is best for your dog. If your dog is toy motivated, you can have a toy for class. *It is helpful to have a leash and collar or harness near by. *This class is for YOU and your DOG or PUPPY.
