Building Confidence: Mathematics Help & Enrichment

In this class, students will be able to bring any math topic that they are struggling with at every age level for a one to one tutoring session. Math topics can be anything from fractions, graphing, decimals, algebra, geometry, precalculus, trigonometry, stats, and more. I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Education and Mathematics. My goal is for all students to gain confidence in the subject content as well as learn to enjoy what they are learning about. I will have games prepared as well as additional problems and worksheets when necessary. I will also use a lot of visual learning with the Zoom Whiteboard. Learners will interact the whole time with me and do a problem here or there which we will review. The beginning will be the learner listening to me review for the first five minutes. We will practice and do extra problems for a majority of the class. The end of the class will be sending the child off with more practice they can do as well as a game to help them! I believe it is important to make tutoring fun and calm so the children are not overwhelmed with the subject matter. I am comfortable with all levels of math including fractions and decimals, probability, algebra, precalculus and trigonometry functions, geometry including proofs, calculus including derivatives, and more. I can also help your child master the basic fundamentals including all four operations on all levels with numbers, variables, polynomial functions, and more.
