Description
Class Experience
Students will be able to identify the violin, bow and their parts (including how and why they work!) Students will be able to correctly hold a bow Students will be able to correctly hold a violin Students will be able to play beginning violin rhythms and songs.
Practice, practice, practice!! The more students practice outside of class, the easier they will learn and progress. Listening to The Suzuki CD's and other violin music is key to helping students learn by ear.
Suzuki Book 1 for Violin (WITH THE CD!!) Violin (Tuned in appropriate size for the student) -Tuning device for an adult is very helpful. Bow (Proper size for student) Notebook/Pencil Violin "Tapes" or other small stickers when guided to purchase from teacher Printed Sheets (Violin & Bow Parts, Bow Hand, etc. that will be provided for each lesson)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Informal Assessments throughout lessons so that students will have individualized feedback for their next lessons!
