Profile
Teacher expertise and credentials
I am offering one on one lesson of Violin and Viola, which are the two main roles in the String orchestra, String Quartet and Philharmonic setting. Classical trained musician based in Pittsburgh and received the Master Degree in Viola Performance from Texas Christian University and Advanced Music Studies certificate from Carnegie Mellon University.
I believe everyone has their unique way of approaching music, from listening to the live symphonic concert, attending EDM music festival or even, the ultimate way of tasting the music for me, is making music with fellow musicians.
My role here is to help you navigate through the beginning phase of picking up a new instrument and get you ready for your own musical journey! As for the class material, we can pick from classical pieces to popular songs, folk music to electronic music, which I have wide spectrum of music appreciation. Of course, underneath the simple joy of playing your favorite music, we need to have the solid foundation which I will assigned some Scales and Etude books to enrich the techniques of the instrument-playing.
Fun Facts! I used to just playing violin as my hobby and my main focus back in high school is forming my Band and sing all the Rock songs from Gun' n Roses to One Ok Rock.
