It's true that practice makes perfect! For math, this is key for developing a strong foundation. In this course, the student will practice skills involving order of operations, integer operations, solving equations (using emoji puzzles) and review graphing ordered pairs to build up to graphing linear equations.
Learning Goals
The student will:
-use order of operations to simplify math expressions
-use simple rules to perform integer operations
-solve emoji puzzles to find missing values in an equation

Order of Operations
In this lesson, the student will use PEMDAS to simplify expressions. 13 mins of video lessons
Lesson 2:
Integer Operations
In this lesson, the student will use integer rules to add, subtract, multiply and divide integers. 13 mins of video lessons
Lesson 3:
Solving Equations using Emoji Puzzles
In this lesson, the student will use emoji puzzles to find the missing value in an equation. 17 mins of video lessons
Lesson 4:
Graphing Linear Equations
In this lesson, the student will use in and out tables to practice graphing linear equations. 15 mins of video lessons

It would be nice for the student to have notebook paper and graph paper in order to work out the example problems given.
